Rules & Regulatiions

Classes are from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. Office hours are from 9.00 am to 5 pm.

Students have to bring their school diary daily, which should be produced on demand by the principal or any teacher.

All students must attend the morning assembly. Late comers will be duly punished.

English is the only language permitted in the school campus for all interactions, formal, informal and chats. This is applicable in the school buses also.

Proper and complete uniform is compulsory. A cheerful countenance, dignified dressing and behavior is always expected.

Personal hygiene is to be maintained.

Dyeing of hair or using hair gel is not permitted.

Girls’ hair should be plaited neatly on both sides and tied with ribbon / bush. Monthly hair cut and daily clean shave to be maintained by boys.

Nails should be trimmed weekly. Girls and Boys are not allowed to grow their nails.

Uniform is not for style or show. It symbolizes unity and uniformity, not diversity. It also indicates equality and sense of belonging to the institution.

Greeting the authority and teachers with respect and courtesy is a must. Such courtesy should be extended to other students as well.

Running, Playing or shouting in classrooms and in corridors are strictly prohibited. During school hours pupils must move about with their hands at the back.

Move in line with hands at the back in perfect silence to attend the classes outside the classroom.

During interval students are not supposed to play inside the class.

Students are forbidden from bringing packed food items, mobile phone, i-pad, pen drives and C.D. to the school. Strict action will be taken if such cases are found.

Irregular attendance, habitual negligence in school work, dishonesty, obscenity in word or act, serious misconduct or threats even outsides school are sufficient reason for dismissal.

Pupils must not do any damage to school property. Those who cause the damage will be liable to repair it at their own cost.

Keep your school premises clean. The waste paper basket should be used for this purpose.

Promotion is granted on the basis of the general progress of the pupil during the academic year.

Students who are sick and are granted medical leave for genuine reasons during the examination may be considered for the promotion if their progress has been satisfactory through the academic year.

Regular attendance is expected of every student. No student shall absent himself/herself from class without the prior permission of the class teacher or principal. If prior permission cannot be attained for reasons beyond control, a leave application signed by the parent or guardian should be sent to the principal.

Students absent from classes for 15 consecutive days or more without intimation will have their names removed from the rolls, they may be charged a fee of Rs. 500 for readmission.

A student who fails twice consecutively in the same class will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in the school.

The principal can amend any rules or introduce new rules without notice and such rules will be binding on all students parents and teachers.

Library Rules

  • During school days library will function from 9 a.m. to 4.3 p.m.
  • Strict silence is to be maintained in the library.
  • Students who keep the books longer than the time permitted will be fined.
  • Books in the reference section may not be taken out of the library.
  • Books should be returned with out any damage. If the book is lost or if there is any damage, the student will have to pay the specified amount as fine.
  • To provide maximum opportunity to read, the library provides plenty of books, periodicals, newspapers etc.
